Our Purpose: USA Cares is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing veteran suicide by addressing the financial hardships that often lead to crisis. Through emergency financial assistance, we help veterans and active-duty service members avoid homelessness, vehicle repossession, and food insecurity.
The Growing Need: In 2024, USA Cares received a record number of assistance requests from veteran and military families. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding, we were forced to turn away veterans in need—each denied request increasing the risk of suicide. More support is urgently needed to continue serving those who have served us.
